I took about 50 photos of each of my subjects; shooting close ups of key elements around their face, shoulders, and all that fun stuff. I then printed each image out, cut out my desired shapes, and dry mounted them to a thin matte board. From there, I arranged them into 3D statues with various forms of glue. It had been years since I last used a hot glue gun – great stuff. The final pieces are about 3 feet in height.
Very creative. Stoked on these. Put them on Behance, I bet you’ll get tons of feedback.
